Hiya, i have had an idea about making a porn series for a number of years and i'm in the position to go ahead with it. I'll need experts on board though as i've not done this stuff before. Can anyone recomend a good studio to discuss my ideas with and indeed if anyone can offer any tips then i'd appreciate it. Im sure there have been heaps of folks saying similar things but hey...its my turn now.
Cheers all,
Jason

First off, can you say whereabouts in the country you're located so people can possibly suggest a suitable studio in your area?

Hi Jason
We are content producers for a very successful site (site link on application) and have our own 4000sqft studios with multiple sets and decent facilities but we're near Gatwick a bit far from Wales.

I assume you have the budget to do a first shoot and edit?
Shoot at studio with two models and two crew with Sony NXCAMS from £1400 plus VAT, just supply hard drive for video files for you to edit. Three scenes.

Recent shoot for new client in the lady's boudoir set here

Lighting was with 2 Kinoflo 4by4s, big soft box light, Gobo projection and Arri 800 for sunlight effect from window. Small camera crane used for wide shot.

HI folks, thanks for the replies. I'm based in South Wales, i have a budget im willing to 'risk' on doing something that most blokes would like to do (btw i'm not getting into this to get laid, its about the idea)
I'll be looking to use a studio at some stage for sure but i have a lot of work to do prior to that. I need some advice, (if your willing to share) on setting up. As i said in 1st mail i'm new to all this so perhaps an idea on how to set up a company dealing in porn would help a great deal. I'll be running this myself (although a good, good friend is interested) so what type of company would be needed? I read the topic on insurance and became confused. Willing to persevere though, if that is whats needed.
Anyhow, thanks for the replies. Any further help offered will be appreciated.
Cheers,
Jason

Hi Jason

Running a porn business is like running any other business. Please feel free to reference Porn School here on this site as that is what it was set up for.

Everything else with regards to setting up a business is available in your local library
