View Full Version : Visa for working in the US?

Not the standard thread on here I'm sure, but do stick with me.

I'm hoping to work in the US next year (LA, San Fran area), and have companies in mind to work with. For this, I'd need 2 forms of US Govt issued ID, and an O-visa. The price to for an appointment at the embassy in London is a cool £150, and an immigration lawyer is in the region of £250. So I've done my homework.

However, have any models on here went down this route before? I'm being told wildly different ways how they did it, but the people I'd be working with are at the top of their game, and it would all need to be done legally, with paperwork in hand.

Also, agencies would be very much appreciated. I do solo, hard g/g and fetish.

Cheers,
Rebekka.

Hi Rebekka

If the companies you know are at the top of their game then they should be able to arrange it for you.

I wouldnt take that risk by paying for it as the tricky thing would be customs wouldnt legally allow you to get into the country if you said you were there to do porn.

many a model has been sent on the return flight back. One with sex toys in her case.

Thanks for the advice - unfortunately the main people I was hoping to work for said that though they wanted to work with me, they were unwilling to be a sponsor. I will ask a few others on my mighty list.

Bit of a sticky situation if I can get a visa in order to model, but customs can still refuse me.
