Apologies for not having posted earlier to pass on this information - I had trouble accessing the website.
For those of you who have been to, or heard about the Indigo Clinic (Sexual Health Service and rapid HIV tests for people working in the Adult Entertainment Industry) we have made some changes which you will need to know about if you are accessing our service.
After 3 years of offering free certificate for STI's and HIV we will now be charging £35 from the 15th May. We had planned to start charging for certificates one year after the clinic started, but we've held off. However, we are now bringing entertainers in line with the general public who attend our sexual health clinic who are charged £35 if they request a certificate for work/insurance/travel purposes.
The sexual health screen, HIV test, hepatitis vaccinations and postage for certificates send in the mail will still, of course, all be free.
We also no longer have the 4 dedicated Indigo clinic appointments on a Thursday morning - this is because demand far outstrips the 4 appointments, so performers can now book into our general clinic any day/time of the week that we are open. You can make bookings by telephoning our call centre on 0845 811 6699 or the Health Advisers on 020 8846 1579. As always, we advise booking as far in advance as possible, because the clinic is very busy and appointments cannot usually be booked at short notice.
